The police arrested six men in Brabant on Wednesday morning for extortion. They allegedly extorted and threatened an entrepreneur in the municipality of Drimmelen with violence.
Apprehended
The suspects were apprehended at various locations by an arrest team. It concerns a 48-year-old man from Oosterhout, a 29-year-old Roosendaler, two people in their forties from Breda, a 29-year-old man from Tilburg and a 58-year-old suspect from Chaam.
The last suspect will already be stuck, and has been held in jail for the suspicion. All six suspects are known to the police, she said in a message.
Police investigated two more locations later in the day and are continuing to investigate the case.
