An explosion occurred at a fish shop in Amsterdam on Thursday night. Significant damage was caused, but no injuries were reported.
Cracks
The explosion was heard around 1.15 am on Lambertus Zijplein in the Geuzenveld district. This caused cracks in a window of the fish shop, and part of an awning came down. There is also a hole in the street in front of the store. The city channel AT5 reported this on its website on Friday.
No perpetrator was arrested.
Following the explosion, the police had an investigation carried out by the explosives specialist and the forensic service.
