Rotterdam – Two people were injured in a shooting incident on September 3 in a café on Sint-Andriesstraat. Seven people have been arrested.
Around 02:00, one of the two injured was taken to a hospital in Rotterdam with a gunshot wound. The still unknown man was immediately admitted and his identity is not yet known. It did become clear that he must have been shot at or in the cafe in question.
Arrests
Officers went to the pub in question and arrested four people: two men aged 27 and 59 from Rotterdam and two women aged 42 from Rotterdam and 46 from Waddinxveen. Shortly before that, officers elsewhere in Rotterdam already arrested two men aged 23 and 51 from Barendrecht. The seventh suspect was found outside the café: he was the other injured person. This man had not been shot, but had been assaulted. He was also taken to a hospital and later arrested.
Research
