Delft – Today in Team West, the police show, among other things, camera images of a shooting incident in Delft. The still unknown shooter turned on a 23-year-old man twice that day. First with a knife, later with a firearm. The man was not injured. Team West also shows images of an assault in The Hague and a burglary in a store in Voorburg.

On Friday, June 23, a 23-year-old man was shot several times by an unknown man at the Nieuwe Plantage in Delft. The victim had previously encountered this unknown shooter at various locations in Delft that day. He was already threatened verbally and with a knife by this unknown man. After these earlier threats, a third confrontation between the two occurred at around 3:45 PM that afternoon at the Nieuwe Plantage. This time the suspect has a firearm with him. Images show the unknown man riding up on a bicycle, pulling a firearm from a shoulder bag and shooting several times in the direction of the victim. Fortunately, the victim was not injured. The suspect then drives away on a light-colored ladies’ bicycle in the direction of the tram stop on Vrijebanselaan. The broadcast shows camera images of the shooting incident and the shooter.

Supermarket abuse | The Hague
On Saturday, June 17, an assault took place in a supermarket at the Ambachtsgaarde in The Hague. An unknown man knocked out two front teeth from the mouth of a 27-year-old man who stood up for an older woman standing in line at the checkout. And that because of shifting a shopping basket. The unknown man also threatened the victim with death. The entire incident is on screen, but at the request of the public prosecutor, only images from before and after the incident are shown. The victim immediately went to the hospital for emergency treatment on his jaw. Unfortunately, he will need several more treatments to repair the damage. Shop burglary | Voorburg
On Sunday, March 19, an attempted burglary took place at a store on Koningin Julianaplein in Voorburg. The camera images show the burglar walking to the front door of the building with a crowbar.
