The house in Amsterdam-Noord where an explosion took place on Friday morning was shot at during the night from Friday to Saturday. That happened around 2:30 am, police said. A police helicopter, among others, took part in a search for the shooter, but he was not found. The residents were home at the time the shooting occurred. They were unharmed.

In Rotterdam there was an explosion last night at a house on the Izmirerf in Rotterdam-Alexander. No one was injured. It was probably a homemade explosive made from heavy fireworks. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) did not arrive on site. There was only damage to the front door.
