Amsterdam – A shooting incident took place in the area of ​​Jacob Paffstraat early Wednesday morning. No one was injured. One person has been arrested.
Around 3:45 a.m., the police received a report that shots were heard in Jacob Paffstraat and that two people were running away shortly afterwards. When the alerted police officers drive in the direction of the street in question, they see two men walking on the Ladogameerhof who match the description given. The moment the pair sees the police, they take off running. Ultimately, the officers manage to arrest one of the men after a short foot chase. It concerns a 23-year-old man from Amstelveen. The second suspect has not yet been arrested and looks as follows; light complexion, approximately 1.85 meters tall and was wearing a white/cream-colored hoodie. Investigation in the area of ​​Jacob Paffstraat has shown that shots were fired at two parked vehicles at Balgerskamp. Shell casings have also been found around here.
