Oisterwijk – The police found several weapons in a business premises on Nijverheidsweg on Friday evening, April 28. Shortly before, a shooting was reported, in which one person was injured. Four men have been arrested.
At around 9:15 p.m., the control room received reports that shots may have been heard in the area in question. A number of people would also walk near the building. The police found a 31-year-old man from Oss at the business premises. He appeared to have a gunshot wound to his hand. The ambulance then took him to the hospital where he received medical treatment. The tenant of the building, a 60-year-old man from Oisterwijk was also present. Two other men who were allegedly involved in the incident turned out to have driven away. The license plate number of this car was already known to the police.
Weapon find
The police inspected the business premises during the investigation. She found several firearms and ammunition in the building. The tenant has also been arrested. The 31-year-old injured man was also arrested after his treatment at the hospital. The men who had driven away were arrested later that night on the A50 near Hoenderloo. It concerns a 36-year-old man from Schiedam and a 20-year-old man from Rotterdam. All are stuck. Police are still investigating at the property.
