Several arrests after Dordrecht shooting incident

Dordrecht – A shooting took place on Stationsplein in Dordrecht on April 9. No one was injured. Officers arrested seven people shortly after the incident.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., the police received a report that two groups of people were arguing near the station square and that shots had been fired from at least one of the two groups. Officers arrived quickly and determined that no one had been injured. It became clear from the investigation that shots had been fired and from the fact that several casings were found.

Arrested
Seven suspects were soon arrested, five of whom are now identified: a 22-year-old man of no fixed abode, a 17-year-old boy from Papendrecht and three 19-year-olds from Zwijndrecht, Capelle. on the IJssel and Hoogvliet. The men and boys are in custody and are being interrogated.
