Tilburg – On Sunday morning, November 5, 2023, the police arrested seven suspects red-handed in connection with a burglary of a truck, partly thanks to an alert security guard during an action on the Vossenberg industrial estate. These are men from Eindhoven and the surrounding area, aged 20 to 46. These are often acquaintances of the police. The loot, consisting of a large amount of electronics, was found in a rented van.
A security guard reported around 1 a.m. on the night from Saturday to Sunday that he had seen a person on the industrial estate who was behaving suspiciously. Reason for the police to investigate immediately. The suspicious person was found and checked. He had a vague story about his stay there. Finally, on Sunday morning, the officers saw a van driving into a business park through a hole in a fence. Several people walked onto the site. Officers later saw that this van wanted to leave the site. This was followed by a coordinated action, in which seven suspects were arrested red-handed. In the loading space of the van was a large batch of electronics that had apparently been stolen from a truck recently. In addition to the van, two passenger cars were also seized.
