Customs arrested seven suspected thieves on the Maasvlakte in the port of Rotterdam on Friday evening. These are men aged 22 to 27 from Rotterdam, Utrecht and Belgium (3x). The Seaport Police reported this on Saturday.
The four Dutch and three Belgians are suspected of trying to remove cocaine from a container. The seven men have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
Last weekend, 17 thieves were arrested on the Maasvlakte. Three of them are minors aged 15 and 16. On Tuesday night, four suspected thieves were arrested in the port of Vlissingen.
