The Regional ICT Service Utrecht is looking for one

Service Level Manager

for 32 – 36 hours per week

What are you going to do?

You continuously coordinate the wishes and needs in the field of ICT and information management. You continuously monitor customer satisfaction, because you are responsible for complying with the agreements in the service agreements (DVOs) and the underlying Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You focus on continuously tightening and improving services and expanding them where necessary.

You develop service descriptions and service breakdowns where they affect the content and capacity needs of the ICT environment. An important task is to record clear agreements about the services to be provided and their level. You contribute to the preparation and management of budgets for the purchase and life cycle of ICT products and services and support the controller with accountability through the planning and control cycle. Together with your colleague Server Level Manager, you are responsible for concluding, renewing and managing all ICT-related contracts of RID Utrecht. You are the point of contact both internally and externally WHEN it comes to complying with the agreements made, software contracts, master agreements, DVOs and/or SLAs.

In the event of escalations, you coordinate the services and act as an escalation manager. To achieve this, you can easily communicate with the various stakeholders in local authorities and suppliers, as well as the RID itself.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Service Level Manager who feels comfortable in a hectic environment with multiple local authorities with different work processes, high requirements in the field of information security and changing needs in the field of ICT and information management. It is necessary to structure the needs in this dynamic and translate them into a clear range of ICT services and solutions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced colleague who can be the expert discussion partner and point of contact for the local authorities we serve and our suppliers. The key words are: analyzing, connecting, making and recording clear agreements, safeguarding, tactical management and being aware of the environment.

Where will you work?

The RID Utrecht is the ICT partner for 7 organizations; the municipalities of Baarn, Bunnik, De Bilt, Soest, Utrechtse Heuvelrug and Wijk bij Duurstede and the Regional Social Service Kromme Rijn Heuvelrug. Our RID employees support more than 2,200 employees in these organizations, which together represent approximately 220,000 residents. In our young and informal organization we work intensively together on further professionalization and innovation of the ICT infrastructure and services. With us, you take initiative and consciously work to raise the quality of service to residents and companies to a higher level through the affiliated organizations.

Your ideal profile

You are a person who operates as a team with your colleague Service Level Manager, but has your own focus and expertise. Your focus is on local governments. In your role you are able to manage agreements about services in a relationship and service-oriented manner.

You are a decisive and passionate professional with a service-oriented attitude and environmental sensitivity. You don’t shy away from the cheese and you are steadfast in safeguarding unity in collaboration with our partners, suppliers and the RID.

Qualities

  • Has HBO working and thinking level.
  • Knowledge of ICT, management and service management methodologies.
  • Has basic knowledge of project management or program management methodology.
  • Understanding and knowledge about local governments, their processes and the supporting/facilitating sector organizations such as the VNG.
  • Is demonstrably financially literate.
  • Has at least 3 years of experience as a Service Level Manager.
  • Is an expert discussion partner, sees connections and takes action based on thorough substantive analyses.
  • Takes initiative and leadership in directing and managing services.
  • Is socially skilled, can communicate convincingly in writing and orally and makes contact easily.
  • Able to develop and communicate a clear vision on development in the field of ICT, information management and digital collaboration in a municipal environment.
  • Has a sense of humor :).

What do we offer you?

Depending on education and experience, a maximum salary of €5,997 applies for a 36-hour working week (Salary scale 11 of the SGO Collective Labor Agreement). Amounts apply to a 36-hour working week, which can be completed flexibly. In addition to your monthly salary, you receive a contribution every month for your Individual Choice Budget (IKB). This SCV consists of 17.05% of your gross monthly salary each month. With this budget you can make choices that suit your stage of life, personal wishes and goals. So you decide when and for what you use your budget. Consider, for example, purchasing extra holiday hours, extra income through payment of the budget, training/bicycle, etc.
