A person was seriously injured in a shooting in the Green Place coffee shop on Kloveniersbrugwal in the center of Amsterdam on Sunday evening. The victim was urgently taken to hospital by ambulance.
The report of the shooting on the Kloveniersbrugwal (adjacent to the Nieuwmarkt) came in around 10:20 PM. AT5 reports that the victim was hit in a critical spot and was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The crime scene has been cordoned off. The police and forensic investigation are conducting an investigation on site.
Two suspects allegedly fled in a car in the direction of Damstraat. There is no information yet about what led to the shooting.
