Rijsbergen – A 29-year-old man from Breda died in a hospital last night. He was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the Bredaseweg on Saturday afternoon, March 16. His motorcycle collided with a car driven by a 33-year-old man from Rijsbergen. The driver was also seriously injured. The police are investigating the circumstances of the traffic accident.
The 29-year-old motorcyclist drove along the Bredaseweg in the direction of Breda. The 33-year-old driver apparently drove from the service road onto the main road. The motorcyclist then crashed into the left flank of the passenger car. Both people involved were seriously injured.
Assistance
Two air ambulances and two ambulances arrived on the scene. The motorcyclist was resuscitated on the street. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Rotterdam under the supervision of the trauma doctor, where he died last night. The motorist was transported to a hospital in Tilburg by ambulance, which also included a trauma doctor.
