Short:

• You have at least HBO work and thinking level, preferably proven by a relevant education.
• You have experience in a similar position and can convey your knowledge well to colleagues.
• You have experience with the development, implementation and coordination of I&A projects.
• You have experience with information security and privacy management.
• You can communicate excellently, at different levels, and know how to convince and get others on board.
• You have knowledge of current legislation and regulations, government policy, developments in the field of ICT and GDPR and the challenges a municipality faces.
• You know how to translate theory into practice and are results-oriented.
• You bring competencies such as political sensitivity, stress resistance and are firmly on your feet.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As an I&A Advisor you will become part of the Information Provision team, which includes ICT and DIV. You will have a very independent role and will work closely with the other I&A Advisor, your team leader and other colleagues.

In your position you take steps in the field of information security, architecture, privacy, user management and you have a vision for the future. Thinking in broad terms and not getting bogged down in details is what we can expect from you.

You think about innovation and the further digitization and optimization of ICT services. This means that you give advice when it comes to projects and also supervise projects. You know how to translate to actually improve and optimize processes. You get to work on proposals and business cases. Working under architecture comes naturally to you.

You are a sparring partner for the various suppliers and you are the internal face of information provision. You fulfill a support role for employees with ICT-related questions, requests or problems.

Working at OVER-Municipalities means deepening, broadening and freedom. Within our informal organizations you have short lines of communication with the councilor, partners and executive colleagues. You can have an opinion about everything and be a bit professionally stubborn. That is something we appreciate, we would also like to learn from you!

• You can translate this into improving processes and optimizing them.
• You are the public face and sparring partner for suppliers.

WHO ARE WE?

We are OVER: the work organization of the municipalities of Oostzaan and Wormerland. Two municipalities that are administratively independent. OVER is a small and fine organization, but big on topics. Due to our location, close to the larger cities of Zaandam and Amsterdam, we are familiar with many of the challenges of a larger city. We tackle this with a close-knit team. At OVER we trust each other, colleagues help each other.

WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU?

Short:

• A gross monthly salary of a maximum of €5,725 (maximum scale 11 Cao SGO for a 36-hour working week, depending on education and experience)
• An extra budget of 17.05% per year, which you can use for a bicycle, education/training, extra leave or a monthly benefit.
• A very good pension scheme with ABP;
• Travel allowance for commuting (from 10 km) or full public transport reimbursement (2nd class);
• 23 days of leave with the option to purchase additional;
• An annual contribution to your health insurance costs;
• An annual contract with the intention of permanent employment. We are happy to commit to you!
• A position of 36 hours per week;
• An iPhone and a MacBook (on loan).
