The challenge

You are the point of contact within the organization about the use of Geo data. You know what is going on professionally within the municipality and how you can respond to this. By capturing, combining, analyzing and presenting this data, you can create a world of information and ensure that Geo generates maximum returns. You advise professional teams and the Strategic Platform on the possibilities of using spatial information.

You ensure that the quality of the data is guaranteed in the processes of the professional teams. You support and think along how the quality of the data can be guaranteed (even better) in the processes. In addition, you initiate Geo projects, whether or not based on changing frameworks such as the SOR, in which all Geo-referenced data from various key registers and organizations must be linked to each other.

Together with the Data team, you advise the professional teams on how they can use their Geo-data to make better policy, such as topics such as the Environment Act, 3D models or the energy transition. Finally, together with a colleague, you are the functional manager of the systems such as viewers, Geo applications / BGT applications.

What are you bringing?

You have an HBO working and thinking level and affinity with IT technology. You preferably have three years of experience as a Geo-specialist and the necessary experience with project-based work. Software knowledge of packages such as NedBGT/NGDW (Cadac), Tailormap (B3Partners), GeoVisia (DataQuint), AutoCad/TopoCad and QGIS is a bonus. Affinity with the Environment Act and knowledge of basic registrations and digital links with National Facilities is also not a requirement, but it is a very strong advantage.

You are communicative in word and writing. Working independently on various tasks/projects is no problem for you. You have a good eye ‘for the world inside and outside the town hall’. You feel at home in an informal organization without a direct manager.

What we offer you?

• Depending on your education, knowledge and experience, this position is classified in (indicative) scale 10 (max. €4,671 gross for a working week of 36 hours).
• The position is available for 32-36 hours per week.
• It concerns a one-year employment contract that can be converted to permanent employment if mutually satisfied.
• An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05%. Your IKB includes, among other things, the holiday pay and end-of-year leave allowance.
