WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
Within the Bunschoten, Leusden, Nijkerk and Putten (BLNP) partnership, efforts are made to keep safety issues manageable. Together with several colleagues, you are the central hub and point of contact.

Your primary focus for now is on the municipality Wells or the municipality Leusden.
As a Security Officer you are responsible for the daily management of information security activities. Together with the (regional) Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you play an important role in drawing up and translating the information security policy into operational measures.

You will, among other things, work on:

• Drafting a policy memorandum, frameworks and guidelines for information security
• Practical information security questions from the organization;
• You test systems and applications against security standards from the Government Information Security Baseline (BIO) based on the ISO27001 standard and you carry out risk analyzes and data classifications;
• Handling information security incidents;
• You provide information and training in a creative way to increase information security awareness in the organization;
• Supporting internal and external audits in the field of information security (including ENSIA controls);
• Drawing up the annual plan, together with the CISO and privacy colleagues with input from the organization.

In your work you have a lot of contact with the professional departments and you seek coordination with responsible administrators. You will also work closely with colleagues from ICT and together you will be responsible for the digital resilience and maturity of the organization.

WHERE DO YOU WORK?
Organizationally, you fall within the ICT team of the BLNP municipalities. Together with a few other colleagues, you form the security team. With this team you can discuss issues and develop joint policy. In addition, you continuously seek coordination with colleagues from the privacy team. Because of your position you have a great sense of responsibility. You keep a close eye on developments surrounding legislation and regulations. You have a vision on information security and you translate this into concrete results in your work. We expect you to contribute to the team. Both in terms of content and attitude, behavior and way of working together. You actively contribute to job satisfaction and a good atmosphere.

Education and experience of our ideal candidate:

• You have a relevant completed HBO education. If you are in the final phase of your studies, we also cordially invite you to apply;
• You are certified in the field of information security (CISSP or CISM) or you are willing to obtain one of these certifications.
• Some experience in the government domain adds value but is not a requirement

WHAT DO WE OFFER
We offer an employment contract for 1 year with the prospect of a permanent contract. Depending on education and experience, the salary is a maximum of €5,247 gross per month (job scale 10), based on a 36-hour working week. In addition to your salary, you will receive a freely disposable budget: the Individual Choice Budget (IKB). This is 17.05% of your salary and salary allowances. With this IKB you can, for example, arrange extra leave, training or have it paid out monthly.
