Oss – On Sunday, the police arrested a 46-year-old man from Oss for his suspected involvement in a stabbing incident in that location on April 3. We previously arrested a woman in this investigation. She was released again on Friday.
Around 2:15 p.m. that Tuesday, the police received a report that an injured man was lying on the Hertogensingel in Oss. The 34-year-old man from Oss had been stabbed. Further investigation soon revealed that the stabbing incident did not take place on the Hertogensingel, but on the Johannes Poststraat. The police therefore conducted extensive technical investigations at both locations.

The further investigation quickly led to a first suspect. This is a 25-year-old woman from Oss. She was arrested that same day around 4 p.m. on the Linkenweg in her hometown after she was recognized by colleagues. The victim and suspect are known to each other. The investigation showed that a second suspect was probably involved in the stabbing. That concerned a man from Oss. He was arrested on Sunday and will be brought before the examining magistrate on Wednesday.
