“I must honestly admit that it should come out that I am pregnant with my second child! The business itself is of course a top business, we are still very happy with it. But last year our son Rocky was born, he is now one year old, and it is becoming a bit difficult to combine. I now take Rocky to a school four days a week, because unfortunately the grandparents don’t live here. If you can take your child to grandma and grandpa, you might feel a little less guilty. Because I miss the grandparents and because I take Rocky to a school, I started to doubt myself a little whether I still wanted to do business abroad. Finding out I was pregnant with a second child was decisive for me. For us. It’s really quite a step, very difficult. A lot is also happening to us. Because many people, like our regular guests, are like: why are you leaving?! If a business is not going well, people expect it. But because Casa Beense is doing so well, people did not expect it at all.”
