Theaterbolwerk Punch, the theater initiative that offers new writers serious opportunities, presents the third brand new play text, after Ongerijmd and Een stel Mannenpenguïns (on show until May 16): In de Lift by Annemarie Wisse.
‘In the elevator’ is a tragicomic performance in which the world of an ambitious businesswoman comes together with that of a young man who has fled. It gradually becomes clear how far apart they are, but also immediately how many similarities they have. Locked in a cramped space, they unintentionally have to rely on each other. ‘In the elevator’ makes you laugh and at the same time exposes a social problem.
Played by Rian Gerritsen, Yazan Al Hakim and Sylvia Poorta. Sylvia will be the voice behind the intercom live during the tour.
