The police found a drug lab during a raid on Thursday evening at a house on Scholtinkstraat in Losser (Overijssel). The police, the Special Interventions Service (DSI) and the fire brigade conducted a raid after an unwell person was found on Scholtinkstraat earlier in the day.

At the end of the afternoon, local residents reported a resident on Scholtinkstraat who had become unwell. He had to be resuscitated on the street and was taken to hospital.
Protective clothing
Local and regional media report that the DSI and fire brigade entered the house wearing protective clothing and face masks. During the raid, a drug lab was found in the building. It is still unclear what type of synthetic drugs were produced.
Dismantling
The drug lab will be dismantled on Friday by experts from the National Dismantling Facility (LFO). The police are investigating whether the resident’s unwellness is related to the release of toxic chemical fumes in the drug lab.
