George Russell clocked the fastest time in the third and final practice session in Las Vegas. The training was stopped five minutes before the end due to Alexander Albon’s touch with the wall. The Williams driver lost his left rear tire. Many drivers, including Max Verstappen and the Ferrari men, were therefore unable to do a qualifying run. Verstappen therefore finished in P4 behind Logan Sargeant. The Ferrari drivers did not get further than P16 and P17, but they drove their fastest time on the medium tire.
