René le Blanc has been in the world of singers for some time now. How does he view the rise of the new generation of Dutch-language singing artists, such as Flemming, Froukje and Antoon? René says in ‘Panorama’: “Yes, what do I think about that? I saw that Flemming or Antoon, I want to get rid of that, has their own cinema film. Then you think for a moment: what is this? But I don’t listen to that music, not at all actually. I’m 54, I’m still from the old school.”
