PSV wants to present Bosz as soon as possible: 'There is a lot involved'

PSV is speeding up the search for a new head coach and hopes to officially appoint a candidate this week, general manager Marcel Brands told De Telegraaf. The people of Eindhoven are in far-reaching negotiations with Peter Bosz.

Brands tells De Telegraaf that the talks are going well. “I hope it works out this week, but I’m not sure. There is a lot involved. We don’t have it completely in our own hands. You have to deal with a lot of factors. The aim is to get it done as soon as possible to give clarity. Then everyone knows where he stands. It is one of the most important jobs in the club.”

According to the driver, a lot depends on the trainer’s appointment and therefore it is urgent. “It is also very important in view of the composition of the squad to be able to indicate to players’ agents, with whom we are in contact, who will be the new coach. And for our part, we want the players we list with the new trainer.”

Bosz made it clear during the negotiations that, in addition to permanent assistant Rob Maas, he also wants to bring physical trainer Terry Peters to Eindhoven. The latter already worked with the head coach at Vitesse, Bayer Leverkusen and Olympique Lyonnais.
