What are you going to do?

As a Project Manager within the Information & Automation (I&A) department, you are responsible for the implementation of projects and delivery of results. You do this together with a project team of colleagues from the organization and the department.

You:

  • Leads and coordinates various I&A projects;
  • Coordinates multidisciplinary teams and works closely with both business stakeholders and I&A specialists such as information advisors and functional and technical managers;
  • Chairs both project groups and steering groups;
  • Draws up project plans and schedules;
  • You are responsible for successful purchasing and implementation processes of I&A solutions;
  • Monitors project budgets, planning and quality;
  • Reports on progress and results to the client and the Portfolio and Project Manager.

Your profile

You are a driven organizer who can structure projects, provide direction and implement them together with the members of the working group. Where possible, use coaching in your approach and make adjustments when necessary. With your customer-oriented and proactive attitude towards other work groups and the organization, you make the difference! Working enthusiastically, results-oriented and with passion is self-evident for you.

You also bring the following:

  • HBO working and thinking level;
  • Extensive work experience as a project leader of business and IT projects;
  • Experience with drawing up and implementing an action plan and managing municipal suppliers;
  • Prince 2, IPMA-C or otherwise certified;
  • Excellent communication skills and consultancy skills.

  • A salary between €4,211 and €5,997 gross per month (scale 11) based on 36 hours;
  • An employment contract for 32-36 hours (4 x 9 hours is also negotiable);
  • A fixed-term contract, with the prospect of permanent employment;
  • An individual choice budget of 18.45% of your gross annual salary. You can use this for extra leave or extra money, for example;
  • Plenty of opportunities to develop yourself through our wide range of training and education.

And that includes:

  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home;
  • An allowance for your travel costs;
  • A work-from-home allowance;
  • A laptop and phone

The Information & Automation (I&A) department

You will work in the Information and Automation (I&A) department. This department is part of the Operations domain and supports our entire organization. The I&A department is a dynamic department with more than 50 colleagues who are involved in the digital development, ICT infrastructure and information management of our municipality. The department is managed by the head of the department and the rest of the staff team members. Together with the two team leaders, enterprise architect, strategic advisor and portfolio manager, they provide strategy and direction for the department. Knowing more?
