Job offer

The H2O municipalities (Hattem, Heerde and Oldebroek) are looking for a:

Project leader Information provision (medior / junior+)

Do you want to build the digital future of three municipalities? Are you the project leader who, together with a team of driven professionals, ensures that the project results are achieved? Do you ensure that all this is achieved within scope, planning and budget? Then come and talk to see if this is the versatile job you are looking for!

What are you going to do?

In the versatile role of information provision project leader, you work together with various disciplines within and outside the organizations to achieve all necessary products and results. You connect these different disciplines. And although you speak their language, you are not necessarily an expert in one of these fields. Your goal is to put everyone in a good position and you specify the share of each discipline within the project. From your connecting role, you also know how to maintain a good balance between the interests of the various clients, the line organizations and the project organization. Further:

  • Draw up business cases, project initiation documents, project assignments and project plans in close consultation with your clients;
  • As a project leader, you ensure that projects are completed in accordance with the plans, including risk management, interim and final reports and evaluation/aftercare;
  • Keep track of the development of costs and time and quality requirements;
  • Monitor project budgets and time registrations;
  • Provide your clients with relevant management information and thus support and advise them in making decisions.

Who are you?

As a person, you are someone who communicates easily with colleagues from different backgrounds. You take the lead and manage your team in such a way that all disciplines involved can contribute appropriately to the results to be delivered. You keep an overview and manage both the end result and all the intermediate steps that need to be taken to achieve it. Project-based work is in your blood. Working towards concrete results in a defined time, together with a team, is what you prefer to do! You also have:

  • An HBO diploma, for example in business administration or information management, supplemented with training in the field of project management;
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a project leader in similar projects;
  • Affinity with the IT world and you move easily in it.

Perhaps this role appeals to you and you largely recognize yourself in the requested profile, but you do not have the required background or experience. Don’t let this stop you from responding. If necessary, we will be happy to come up with a suitable induction program with the right candidate.

What do we offer?

An annual contract for 32 to 36 hours per week, with the prospect of a permanent employment contract. Depending on your education and experience, your salary is a maximum of €5,997 gross per month (starting scale 10 or scale 11, based on 36 hours).

In addition, the municipality of Oldebroek has good additional employment conditions, such as:

  • Individual Choice Budget: 17.05% of your salary. This budget consists of holiday pay, end-of-year bonus, life-course contribution and former leave hours. You can use the budget according to your own wishes;
  • Additional leave arrangements;
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work partly from home;
  • Ample opportunities to develop yourself, such as following training, courses or career paths;
  • Possibility to use collective insurance;
  • An active staff association with regular fun outings.

Curious about all the conditions? Then take a look at the Cao Municipalities website.

Who are we?

The municipalities of Hattem, Heerde and Oldebroek work together in the field of computerization and automation. In that context, we will work together on an ambitious development agenda in the coming years. In 2017, the municipal secretaries of the H2O municipalities signed the CIO covenant. This CIO agreement mandates reducing the vulnerability of information provision and increasing its quality. In addition, it has been established that by joining forces and centrally organizing knowledge and skills in the field of information provision, the three municipalities are better able to achieve local and joint organizational objectives, reduce vulnerability and increase quality. As a project leader you are responsible for one or more of the strategic projects on this development agenda.

One of the projects that we are currently tackling together is the implementation of case-oriented working and a new case system. The ZGW project is an important organization-wide process that is part of the H2O development agenda. In any case, this project will be included in your assignment portfolio. But more of these types of larger IT projects are planned. Projects that require new technology but that also have a major impact on our organizations. It is precisely the complexity of this combination that appeals to you.
