What are you going to do?
As a project leader of the BVO (Business Management Organization) Rijn en Braasem, you ensure a healthy lifecycle, renewal and business projects of the ICT infrastructure and the application landscape.
We are looking for a project manager who will ensure the connection between the BVO and the municipalities. The project leader is expected to achieve a high-quality result, that the end result is accepted by the users and stakeholders and that the projects are realized in a controlled and predictable manner. From introduction, to implementation and aftercare.
You represent the BVO in projects and are responsible for delivering the deliverables. You monitor the action plan, including the project planning and budget, which you coordinate with the MT BVO. During the project you work closely with colleagues within the BVO as well as with the various departments and users within the municipality. You provide solutions that conform to laws and regulations, policy and architecture (including AVG / BIO, Security, Procurement Act). Determines with the right disciplines within the BVO which budget scope is available within the BVO operating budget for the current project (one-off and structural).
Who are we?
The municipalities of Alphen aan den Rijn and Kaag en Braassem have joined forces in the field of Information Technology and Automation in the BVO Rijn en Braassem. The starting point for this collaboration is the standardization of I&A services, including the associated standard design of the municipal work processes and the appropriate application landscape.
Within the BVO we work in two teams, the Functional Management team and the Policy, Direction and Information provision team. Together with our colleagues, we ensure that the more than 1200 employees of both municipalities can work well every day. The project leader falls under the responsibility of the BVO director, and under the functional management of the Policy and Management Information Provision Team Leader

Who are you?
You are a team player, diplomatic and you know how to involve your team and stakeholders in the project in an enthusiastic and result-oriented way. Because you are the project leader, you can keep an eye on the result and switch pragmatically.
We would also like to see:
- Demonstrable HBO working and thinking level;
- At least 3 years of experience as (IT) project manager;
- Experience with implementation of information provision in primary and business processes;
- You have a thorough knowledge of project budgets and relevant laws and regulations.
