As a Privacy Officer you are the privacy manager and you ensure the protection of personal data within the municipality. A nice and responsible job with a lot of variety. Your responsibilities
You work within the Data Protection task field of the Legal Affairs, Purchasing and Data Protection Team under the Business Operations cluster. You promote the application of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and monitor compliance. You advise the board, management and colleagues about this. In other words:

• You provide solicited and unsolicited advice on privacy matters and make proposals to limit privacy risks
• Help you in (further) drawing up and updating the register of processing operations and updating the data protection policy
• You provide advice and explanation about the GDPR and related legislation and regulations and handle requests and objections and appeals in collaboration with the GDPR Data Protection Officer.
• You are responsible for drawing up and improving privacy-related processes within the municipality, such as Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA), rights of data subjects, data leaks
• You create awareness within the organization and take the lead in this
• You participate in the cyber crisis team in the role of reporter

• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in the past 5 years with the GDPR, and you also have an affinity with privacy and security in the government

• Responsibility, perseverance and ownership
• Demonstrable HBO working and thinking level.
• A positive character with a solution-oriented mindset.
