Hellevoetsluis – Two women were injured after being stabbed on Monday evening, May 22, on the Kasteelpad in Hellevoetsluis. A boy has run away. Police would like to get in touch with witnesses who know more or have CCTV footage.
Around 6.45 pm, a quarrel arose between a 29-year-old woman from Hellevoetsluis and a boy in the presence of a group of children. The boy pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman. A 31-year-old woman from Rockanje was also injured. They have been taken to hospital for treatment.
The boy ran off. Various traces were found in the vicinity of the Kastelpad, Heemskerkstraat and Zeeheldenpad, including a knife and clothing. This has been secured for further investigation. No one has yet been arrested, but the investigation is ongoing.
