Emmen – Last night an injured man was admitted to the hospital in Emmen. He appeared to have several stab wounds. The police are investigating how and where exactly the man was injured and are asking witnesses to come forward.
We received the report of the injured man around 2:30 am. The victim is a 22-year-old man from Emmen. He was admitted to hospital with stab injuries. The man left at the beginning of the night walking from the Laan van het Kwekebos towards the Laan van de Eekharst, in the Emmerhout district. The man indicates that he was attacked by a man near the Eekharst pond. He was stabbed here. The suspect may have then cycled away. The suspect is said to have been wearing dark clothing. The police are conducting further investigation into what exactly happened. To this end, we speak to the victim and call on witnesses to report to us.
