The police found explosives, weapons and ammunition in a house in Oisterwijk. The house was searched yesterday after weapons and ammunition were discovered in a commercial building in the same place. The tenant of that business premises lives in the house.
According to Omroep Brabant, there was no direct danger to the environment. “The EOD helped to get the stuff out of the house,” a police spokesman told the broadcaster.
Bullet wound
Last Friday, the police found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his hand in the business premises in Oisterwijk. He and three others were arrested after firearms and ammunition were found in the building.
In the night from Friday to Saturday, another two men were arrested on the A50 near Hoenderloo. They would have fled from the company premises. It concerns a 36-year-old man from Schiedam and a 20-year-old man from Rotterdam. All detainees are still in custody.
