Police discover drug pharmacy after noise nuisance report

Roosendaal – On Monday, March 20, agents seized various types of drugs after a report of noise nuisance in a house on the Bandeliersberg. The 41-year-old resident has been arrested.

Officers arrived at the home around 1:45 a.m. after reports of noise disturbance. Because noise nuisance was often caused at this address, the officers entered the house to confiscate sound equipment. They also seized a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire.

They also saw various items that may have been related to the production of drugs, such as a press, a carbon filter and several transformers. Consultations were held with the Public Prosecution Service and later in the day the house was searched under the direction of the examining magistrate. The press, various goods used in the cultivation of hemp were seized. Agents also seized various amounts of ketamine (several hundred grams), amphetamine (more than 20 grams), hemp (2 grams), GHB (10 ml) and MDMA (3 grams). It was striking that pink powder was found in several places in the house. That turned out to be Tucibi, also known as pink cocaine. In total, more than 194 grams of it was seized. The resident has been taken into custody for further investigation.
