In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Rotterdam police arrested a man in the Erasmus MC who was injured in a shooting in front of the Sparta stadium in Rotterdam-West. It is a 26-year-old Rotterdammer.

The shooting incident took place on the Huygensstraat in Rotterdam-West. The man was dropped off at the hospital by a car. He had gunshot wounds.
Earlier that night, local residents had called 911 because shots were fired. Two cars may have driven away. Bullet impacts were found by police at the scene of the incident.
