Beverwijk – The police arrested a 16-year-old boy in the night from Friday March 17 to Saturday March 18 after he hit an officer. The police came to the scene for an investigation after a report of a fight on Hoflanderweg in Beverwijk. The officer was beaten during the incident. A 15-year-old boy was also arrested.
At around 00:45, the police received a report of a fight at an event location on Hoflanderweg in Beverwijk. Officers rushed to the scene to investigate exactly what happened and spoke to bystanders. One 15-year-old boy was arrested. Subsequently, another 16-year-old boy interfered with this arrest, after which he hit an officer. The police find aggression and violence against its employees unacceptable.
The two boys have been arrested. It concerns boys aged 15 and 16 from Heemskerk.
