Den Helder – On Monday, February 20, around 8:15 p.m., a 28-year-old man was assaulted in the Asterstraat in Den Helder. After an altercation, the man was punched and kicked several times. Police are looking for witnesses, in particular the driver of a white van.

When the man walked in the Asterstraat, an altercation arose with a group of people. The victim was then beaten by a man from this group. After the blow, the victim ran away towards Brakkeveldweg, but was hit again by the same person on the way. The victim went to the ground and was then beaten and kicked by several people from the group. A driver of a white van came to the victim’s aid and rescued him. After this, the police were informed.

  • Bald head
  • Approximately between 30 and 40 years old
