Uithoorn – The police are investigating a possible arson attack on the Klein Hoefblad in Uithoorn. Around 5 a.m. last night, several vehicles suddenly caught fire in front of a row of houses, after which the fire spread to a house above and caused a lot of damage there as well. The research team would like to get in touch with people who have information about how the fire was started, or who have images of the period prior to the fire.
Car fire
In the early morning of Tuesday, March 14, the fire brigade was alerted because of a car fire. Once on site, it turned out that two scooters had also caught fire. The flames eventually also reached the homes, after which the fire brigade got the fire under control.

Police suspect arson and are investigating the cause of the fire. As part of that investigation, the research team would like to receive images, for example of parked vehicles or video doorbells, especially from the period prior to the fire. The police are also happy to speak to any witnesses or people who have information.
