Hoofddorp – A 17-year-old boy from Hoofddorp fell victim to an attempted robbery at Spaarne Gasthuis station on Wednesday around 1:30 am. He was attacked, with what appears to be a stabbing weapon, by a man who was after his possessions. The victim suffered injuries and is being treated in hospital.
When the victim got off the bus, he was chased by a man. In the direction of Eiland, he was asked to hand over his belongings. When the victim refused and started running, he was overtaken by the suspect. He was stabbed with what appears to be a stabbing weapon. The victim then escaped and went to the hospital. Here he was treated for his injuries. The suspect was not found after a search.
