Police are looking for witnesses after a robbery in Haarlem


Haarlem – The police are looking for witnesses to a robbery that took place on Ekamastraat in Haarlem. On Saturday evening, around 9:30 PM, a boy was robbed there.

The robbery took place near the football cage between the two apartment buildings on Ekemastraat. The victim was cycling there when a man suddenly blocked the passage. The perpetrator demanded the victim’s belongings and fled. The suspect walked in the direction of Ekemastraat and probably used a black scooter (without a windshield) to flee.

The following description is known of the suspect:

  • Male, between 20 and 25 years old;
  • About 175 cm tall;
  • Short, black hair;
  • Black mustache;
  • Small black goatee;
  • Black shiny coat (possibly from the Moncler brand);
  • Hood up;
  • Black jeans with frayed spots;
  • Black sneakers (possibly from the Dior B22 brand);
  • The suspect also has drooping eyelids and a flat nose.

People may know more about the man in combination with the black scooter. Witnesses and/or persons with information can contact the police on 0900-8844.
