There was not a word of Spanish in between, last Friday when the report of the parliamentary inquiry into gas extraction in Groningen was presented. The system has failed and the people of Groningen are the victims. The State must change, was the message. But the same State is currently still conducting plenty of lawsuits against Groningen residents with earthquake damage.
