Peter Faber sits on several terraces every day. That is how it originated in corona time, when he felt the need to be outside. Peter tells Panorama: “I have periods when I don’t drink wine at all and I never drink more than a bottle a day. I keep it contained. It is actually a terrace tour. That originated with me in corona time, to be nice outside. It has become a kind of ritual. Where I go depends on: do I want to talk to someone a lot? Homeless people, bums, junkies or beggars are not crazy, they always see me in the same places, so in the morning I have a few regular customers. In the afternoon, and if I don’t want them to come to me too much, I sit behind the New Amsterdam hedge, for example, or at restaurant De Belhamel, which is on a more upscale route.”
