Pedestrians injured in Rotterdam collision

Rotterdam – Two women aged 20 and 23 from Rotterdam were injured on November 20 when they were hit by a passenger car at a pedestrian crossing on the Strevelsweg in Rotterdam. The driver has been arrested and the police are looking for witnesses.

The collision took place around 9 p.m. on the zebra crossing near Oudelandstraat. The 23-year-old woman suffered a broken leg and a head wound. The other pedestrian suffered a broken arm and shoulder as a result of the collision. Both were transported to hospital.

Arrested
The 20-year-old driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing a traffic accident resulting in serious injuries. He had not been drinking or taking drugs. The police are investigating what happened.
