The Public Prosecution Service (OM) is out: the criminal investigations into Marco Borsato (56), Ali B (41) and Jeroen Rietbergen (51) lead to more clarity. Ali B. and Jeroen will be prosecuted, but not Marco.
A year ago, all kinds of revelations were made about ‘The Voice Of Holland’ in Tim Hofman’s online program ‘BOOS’. Reports were made against a number of suspects and investigations followed. The bullet is now through the church on that. Ali will be prosecuted for sexual offenses with three adult women. Jeroen Rietbergen is suspected of a sexual offense in 2018 in or around the recording studios where ‘The Voice Of Holland’ was recorded. He too will be prosecuted. Perhaps the most striking news is that Marco Borsato will not be prosecuted. The Public Prosecution Service has dismissed the case. The statement of the victim in his case is not supported by a second piece of evidence.
No hearing date has yet been announced for either criminal case.
