Leeuwarden – A stabbing incident probably took place on the Oostergoweg in Leeuwarden last night. One person was injured in the incident and taken to hospital. Shortly after the incident, one person was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident. The police are investigating.
On Monday evening, around 7:43 PM, the police received a report of a possible stabbing incident on the Oostergoweg in Leeuwarden. A 44-year-old man from Leeuwarden was injured in the incident. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Arrest
The police immediately started an investigation into the incident and the circumstances. It is still unclear whether a stabbing incident actually took place. Just after 8 p.m., one person was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident. The 37-year-old man from Leeuwarden is in custody and will be interrogated.
