An explosion occurred at a home in Amsterdam on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. Damage was caused, but no one was injured.
Local residents of the Tweede Jan Steenstraat in the Amsterdam district of De Pijp heard a loud bang around 00.25. Officers arriving on the scene discovered that the front door of a house in the street had been destroyed. “Possibly due to an explosive,” the police said on Wednesday.
After the explosion, a witness saw a possible suspect running away in the direction of Hemonystraat. It concerns a young man with a tanned complexion, wearing a black tracksuit and a black face mask.
The police are looking for witnesses who saw more of the attack.
