Heerlen – On the night of Friday, December 30 to Saturday, December 31, 2023, a shooting incident took place on Vincent van Goghstraat in Heerlen, in which one person was injured. The police are looking for witnesses who saw a dark-colored station wagon in the vicinity of the crime scene at the time of the incident. The vehicle was equipped with a Dutch license plate containing the letter combination “RS”.
The incident took place around 1:15 am in the parking lot on Vincent van Goghstraat. The victim managed to flee in a car shortly after the incident and then reported to the emergency services with a gunshot wound.
Suspects
Information has shown that two suspects, around 20 years old and with a light complexion, were directly involved in the shooting incident and ran away afterwards. One of the suspects was wearing a black cap, a green jacket and a bag.
