New information in investigation into shooting incident Lemelerbergweg

Amsterdam – The detective is conducting extensive research into a shooting incident on the early morning of October 16, 2022 and is asking for the help of the public.

On that morning, just after 4:30 am, shots were fired on the street on Lemelerbergweg. At that time, several people were on the street because of a party that was taking place in the area at the time. As far as is known, no one was injured, but the detective suspects that shots were fired between several people. It is believed an automatic firearm was used. On a video clip – made public by the police – close to the location where the shooting took place, the shots can be clearly heard.

A detective team is conducting extensive research to find out who the people are who shot and who caused a life-threatening situation. Two nicknames emerged in the research. It concerns the nicknames ‘Ella’ and ‘Aika’. Information about these nicknames in relation to this shooting incident is welcome to the detective team. In addition, detectives like to speak with witnesses who have not previously reported to the police. Detectives are also happy to view camera images of the incident that have not been shared before.
