Explosives were placed at a house on Lekstraat in Alkmaar for the second time within 24 hours on Sunday evening. One suspect has been arrested. A second suspect ran off.

Firework bomb

Around 10:30 p.m., the police found two bottles filled with flammable liquid in front of the door of the house. Heavy fireworks were attached to it. Thanks to camera surveillance at the house, officers quickly arrived on the scene and a 19-year-old suspect from Utrecht was arrested, who tried to flee in a car. The second suspect fled on foot. A description of him was distributed via Burgernet. This is a man with a light skin color and he is wearing a gray-blue hoodie.
