Nearly a ton of hashish for the Netherlands caught on Costa del Sol (VIDEO)

Agents of the Guardia Civil and the Spanish national police dismantled a criminal organization based in the province of Malaga that shipped drugs to Central European countries, mainly the Netherlands. During raids, 937 kilos of hashish and 53 kilos of ecstasy pills were found. Four Britons have been arrested.

Mail parcels

The investigation by the investigative services began at the end of September 2022 when agents of the national police in Fuengirola (Málaga) intercepted a postal package containing half a kilo of cocaine. The sender of that envelope intercepted in Fuengirola matched the delivery details of two other packages, each containing four kilos of hashish, which were seized by the Guardia Civil at Madrid-Barajas airport in November.

Disguised as delivery men

The Spanish police found out that a group of British people on the coast of Malaga were engaged in the production, distribution and smuggling of large quantities of drugs for Europe, in particular the Netherlands. The British suspects traveled in vans and dressed as delivery men. While they were on their way to the Netherlands, 91 kilos of adulterants were seized in France.

raids

During three raids on homes in Mijas and Marbella, four Britons were arrested and 937 kilos of hashish and 53 kilos of ecstasy were also seized. Five cars, several mobile phones and 1,390 euros in cash were also seized. One of the houses was used as a cannabis nursery.
