When Najib Amhali is asked in Libelle who he would like to bring back from the dead, he answers: “I can now choose my father, who has never seen me perform. But I choose my mother-in-law: she died four months ago and I see how difficult it is for my wife.” The fact that his father never saw how good and funny Najib could be on stage remains a fact that he finds difficult to place. Like everyone else, Najib would of course have wanted his father to be proud of him. Yet he chooses to ease his wife’s grief, if possible, by bringing her mother back from the dead. That is of course very sweet of Najib!
