Multiple explosions with one seriously injured person during the night (UPDATE)


A man was seriously injured by an explosion in The Hague. Three explosions also took place in Rotterdam and Spijkenisse during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, causing damage. No suspects have been arrested.

Badly injured

A man was seriously injured in an explosion in The Hague on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. This message RTV West. Officers who responded to the explosion found him on the street, police reported. The man has been taken to hospital.

Around 1:30 am, residents at the intersection of Steijnlaan and Engelenburgstraat in The Hague’s Transvaalkwartier were startled by the explosion. It took place near a car.

In addition to the ambulance, fire brigade and police, an air ambulance was also called. The victim had to be rushed to hospital. Police experts have cordoned off the area around the car and are investigating the cause of the explosion.

Explosions

Three explosions also took place in Rotterdam and Spijkenisse last night. The first explosion was around 10:30 PM at a house on the Bramentuin in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde. The front door was damaged and a fire broke out, which the fire brigade was able to extinguish. The explosion was probably caused by heavy fireworks. Three people were present in the home.

Five minutes later, an explosion occurred a kilometer away at a house on Amstenradehoek in Beverwaard. There was also fire damage to the front door.

Cobra

Around 00.50 it was hit in Spijkenisse, on the Lijnzaaddreef, reports RTV Rijnmond. A cobra and liquid were allegedly used as a fire accelerator. A fire also broke out here, which was extinguished by the neighbor with a sheet, reports a 112 photographer who was on the scene.

No one was injured in the explosions. As far as we know, no one has been arrested. The police are investigating the explosions.
