Zwolle – The police are investigating several assaults during Kingdance in Zwolle on King’s Day. Two victims have reported, but it is suspected that more people have become victims. In addition to witnesses, we are therefore also looking for victims who have not yet reported.
The festival took place at the Wijthmenerplas and attracted tens of thousands of visitors. The two victims who came forward suffered facial injuries as a result of the assault. A 16-year-old boy from Nunspeet was assaulted around 9:30 p.m. A 17-year-old boy from Raalte followed around 22:15.
We ask people who have also been victims of violence during the festivities to report to the police. You can do this by calling 0900-8844. An appointment will then be made to file a report.
